Analyze experiments

To focus on experiments rather than all runs, use the toggles in the table toolbar:

Show inherited metrics (enabled by default) – include data from ancestor runs on any chart where a run is plotted.
Show experiments (enabled by default) – in the table, list only experiment heads. This means the latest updated run within an experiment.

All runs tab in the Neptune app. The buttons for switching the experiments history on and off are highlighted.

In the below Neptune example, you can view charts where only experiment heads are displayed, with metric history enabled.

Selecting experiments to compare

To plot runs on charts, in the left table pane, click the eye icons ().

To access display options, click the eye icon () on the header row.

You can use the experiment name to get a URL directly to the experiment's latest run. For instructions, see Constructing URLs.
